Few people pay attention to the way they breathe because it’s an automatic process. But the way you breathe can say so much about how you’re feeling and how you perceive and respond to life.
Our subconscious stores repressed emotions. This causes blockages so that we can no longer breathe fully and often tend to take shorter, more frequent breathings. Breathing too fast causes the brain to produce stress hormones that raise the heart rate. The body receives a signal that we may be in mortal danger and must be able to fight or flee. But nine times out of ten this is not the case at all and there you are, supposedly “relaxed” on the couch with a heartbeat as if you were running a marathon…
If you breathe more than necessary, your stress system becomes disrupted. The result is burnout or other stress-related complaints or even illnesses.
Breathwork is a collective name for various breathing techniques or exercises, in which you consciously change the way you breathe. There are many different styles of breathwork. Some exercises can take a few minutes and others an hour or even longer. Each style of breathwork has its own focus and intention. Some aim to create more relaxation and balance, others are focused on increasing the energy in the body and some are aimed at releasing and healing pain and traumas from the past. By temporarily adjusting the breathing during a breathwork session, it is possible that you will experience various sensations. Breathwork opens up your entire respiratory system and corrects old, ineffective ways of breathing.

In 2023 I completed my training as a holistic breathwork coach at Herleva. It started out of interest, but during the course I found out that I would like to share my knowledge and experience. That is how Breathwork Guide started.
I have experienced first hand what the power of breathwork does to you. In addition to my own insights, I have already been able to give many beautiful breathing sessions. You can read the experiences of the people themselves in the reviews. Each session is a special experience, also for me.

An introduction takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
Free of charge
A single breathwork session consists of an intake and a breath analysis. Based on your wishes and intention, we start with the breathing session. Usually this is a connected breathing, but if another technique fits better, then I will apply it. That always depends on the complaint. Afterwards there is time for reflection and questions.
A session takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

With a breathwork trajectory you can really go into depth. Based on your intention and goal, we get closer to your core every session. During the journey we will work on new breathing habits for lasting results. Each session builds on the previous one and of course there is always room to share your experience and ask questions.
A breathwork journey consists of 3 to 4 session
